A lifelong pursuit of knowledge to create joy in the communities around us
There are two beliefs I’ve always held: we should learn as much as we can, and we should bring joy to the ones we love.
Fortunately for me, a natural barrier brought these two beliefs together - I was not naturally attuned to people’s feelings, and I did not acquire the basic social skills and common sense to interact with those around me. I could only dream from a distance for those fruitful, joyful relationships with my peers.
So, while for many classmates, education and joy did not come hand-in-hand, for me it became a necessity. I had to learn about people in order to create joyful experiences and relationships, and I also learned that there’s no better way to learn than when you’re having fun.

Now, I’m excited to be able to bring my experiences, stories, and insights to new audiences everywhere.
Today, I have packaged what I learned from all my years of research, reflection, learning, studying, and observation - all those grueling years of trying to understand what people think and feel and attempting to interact with people and figure out just a little more about what makes us tick - into unique and innovative events, performances, and speeches.
From magic shows where the poker cards represent the world around us to lectures with live experiments on social science and psychology, I try to show people what it was like to have a blank slate, and what you might learn differently when you see the world through a different lens - all while laughing and learning.
I also show that happiness is a skill, a study, and a science, too. We can all learn more about what it means to be happier and what it takes for individuals, communities, and businesses to bring more joy to the people around us.
