When it came to people, I knew nothing, but I could learn anything.

My story began simple: all I wanted was to give people happiness. But, it wasn’t easy.

I soon realized that I had all of the hopes and dreams, but none of the social skills or common sense. I wanted friends, but the mere thought of talking to them scared me. i wanted to express myself and perform, but people didn’t understand my humor and stage fright froze me to my core. I wanted to be there for the friends and family I loved, but I never understood what they were feeling - sad, angry, depressed, tired, etc. - just that they looked like they could use some joy.

But, I did love learning, and I definitely could understand math, science, and data. There was peace in the stories textbooks told. It gave me clarity and knowledge without anxiety, and it showed me that there was always a chance that I could get one step closer to having close friends - and one step closer to bringing joy, community, connection, and support to those I loved.

Enthralled by how STEMM could present such a novel understanding of the world around us. This love for science led me to initially study theoretical physics and chemistry at MIT. This analytical background and thirst for understanding, coupled with my desire for real-world impact, led me to eventually study business and management science at MIT, where I first applied analytics to understanding human behavior and social change.

As I learned more about how organizations work, I solidified a thought: what if I applied my love for learning, data, and research to people? What if I could teach myself how people work, and what if I can learn how to bring happiness - dare I say, even better happiness, to the people around me?

Delving into topics on business, leadership, policy, organizational behavior, negotiations, and sociology, I discovered my affinity for and skill in innovative experience creation, effective management, and planning. As I understood more, I created more connections, and found more unique ways to helping people and communities realize joy and fulfillment.

Today, I create and support businesses and organizations who create social good via engaging and immersive experiences. I assist groups whose experiences create happiness, joy, community, and personal growth with coaching, board membership, and business services, and I often serve clients with passionate people, emboldened processes, and innovative products for effective impact. I am involved with related industries such as entertainment, the arts, recreation, and education.

By day, I run Zephyr Business Group, a business incubator, accelerator, and support network that creates ventures and provides services to businesses who promote social good through experiences that provide happiness, joy, community building, or personal growth and fulfillment. From innovative personality tests to virtual and in-person shows, we try to make the world a little bit better with each vibrant smile, each happy tear, and each heartfelt hug.

On the side, I’m a sleight-of-hand magician, motivational speaker, and home cook, hoping to always create a little bit more happiness in the communities and the people around me. The experiences I create and the smiles I hope to deliver help inspire curiosity, joy, adventure, hope, and magic in those people’s hearts.

So far, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to:

  • Have founded and supported 60+ small businesses and startups, many with a focus on entertainment, self-discovery, community building, and education. Businesses I have founded were mostly bootstrapped with minimum fundraising. Some have been acquired, others are still cash-flow positive.

  • Consistently won awards for product and service quality, as well as brilliant customer and experiential service. This applies to both my speeches and the businesses I have founded.

  • Taught or presented at 75+ different programs, classes, or events in several states and two countries, for class and audience sizes ranging up to 500 people and various program venues ranging from one-hour speeches at large conferences to full-length, year-long weekend classes.

  • Presented to 1750+ K-12 or college students with cultural backgrounds from 17+ different countries. 6+ of my past students have achieved the recognition of Forbes 30 Under 30, and at least 20+ more have started and maintained their own successful business ventures.
